Book Review: ADHD for Smart Ass Women: How to Fall in Love with Your Neurodivergent Brain by Tracy Otsuka.

This is an excellent book by a late diagnosed ADHDer. Her diagnosis came about when her son was diagnosed with ADHD and she recognized the traits in herself as well. Once diagnosed, Ms. Otsuka wanted to learn as much as she could about her and her son’s diagnosis, eventually becoming a certified autism coach, and ditching her law career to focus on helping other women with ADHD. I love that this book focuses on the unique experiences, challenges, and strengths that female ADHDers face, giving women concrete ways to better support themselves. I recommend this book and Ms. Otsuka’s website and other social media sites to all the female ADHDers that I work with!
